PROM NIGHT 1999~~Survivor Creed~~
We are survivors without any choices.
Dreams of tomorrow are gone today.
Echoing sounds of our children's voices.
Our paths are crossed along the way.
Supporting each other in times of pain.
That is a Survivor Creed.
For a beginning of new hope explained.
This is what we all need.
We need to know that someone cares.
About the pain we feel each day.
That someone understands and shares.
And will be there when we say
"I don't know if I can to learn to live.
Or if I would ever even want to.
I may never learn how to forgive.
But if I do, it will be because you~!"

Time has come
Time has gone
The pain increases
The pain subsides
Lives hopes are dreamed about
They are so clear yet so clouded
Time has come
Time has gone
The pain increases
Lost are the dreams of a beautiful child
From the ashes new dreams will be born
The pain subsides
The future is today
Hearts must become one
The burdens will be easier to carry
Dreams and memories will become reality in our new
future which is today
Lived will be Dreams of a beautiful child
Time has come
Goodbye to yesterday

Amanda's DadAmanda
She was born with a twinkle in her eyes,
Mandie...
An elegant smile,
And a gracious gift to make everyone around her grin.
With that charitable love for people that was profound.
Growing up in a beloved setting
With a nourishing home life,
She glistened with her Heavenly reliance
For God.She had a child-like way about her
With the world
Even though she had an ingenious mind.
Mandie...
Passionate about her beliefs,
Skillful with her way of the world,
Attentive with her friends,
And always had a way of captivating
Her family's love.
A radiance of harmony surrounds her now.

Amanda's Cousin8/4
8/4 AM
She was sleeping
I needed to get my black scandals for work
They were in her closet
"Ugh!"
She lifted up her head
Cracked open her eyes
And dropped her head on her pillow
"Good morning! I'm sorry!"
I left
8/4 PM
She needed to wear my black bikini to the beach that day
They spent all day at the beach
She swam in the ocean
"Ugh!"
My alarm went off
I opened my eyes
And laid in bed in a daze
"Meg! Mandi! Accident!"
I left
8/4 Time Stopped
I saw two stranger's downstairs
Looked out the door
Dad drove the car as mom hung out of the side
And screamed
I sat in the stranger's car
Went to their house
Sat on their porch and prayed
I called Billy's mom
And drank water
8/4 Time is Gone
I saw my two parents crying
As I walked down the street
Dad talked of hope, but I saw it in his eye
She died.
I sat with my mom
Hugged her as she screamed
Sat with her and pretended to pray
I called Jesus' Dad
And she was Okay.
8/4 Hospital
"She was bumped into Heaven!"
"A fifteen year blessing!"
Tears, Shock, Numb
Instant, Gone, No Chance, Gone, No Good-Bye, Gone
Billy, the driver, I hugged
Blood on his shirt-Mandi's, Reality
8/4 Home
"My baby sister!"
"I can't believe it!"
Pain, Shock, Horror
Her Beach Bag, Gone, Her Bedroom, Gone, Her Life, Gone
There were people standing all around
Oh where, Oh where, Could my baby be?
8/4 Is always with me
8/4 Will never end
8/4 Hurts
Life, Death
What does it mean?
Love.
It could happen tomorrow
It could happen now
Life could end
It will
So live
Love.
Show love
Give Love
As much as I hurt
I have no regrets
Because I love
I hope it doesn't happen to you
I hope it won't ever happen
But it might
Maybe tomorrow
So know
Him
Love Him.
Heaven awaits
For those who Know Him
I have no regrets
Because I love

Amanda's SisterSurvivors Freedom
This is the country of the Brave and the Free.
Our flag flies high for you and me.
Our people differ, don't always agree.
But our freedom says that's okay, don't you see?
What's happened to God's country, love of mankind?
Have we lost our morals and left goodness behind?
We fight for rights, sometimes justice is blind.
Our prayers for guidance always fills our minds.
From the highest mountain help me to shout
Lets tell our nation what it's all about.
The loss of a child is without a doubt
A web of sorrow and pain with no way out.
Tell them to love their children, take their hands.
Include the precious children in all of your plans.
Let everyone know love, should it through the land.
This is our right as survivors. It's God's command.

where Amanda was killed. There will a 63 acre recreation
project built in her name !!
The park was the idea of the community. We had nothing to do
with it. She had touched so many in her short lifetime.
